The development strategy and vision of our company are based on:
  • Analysis of the current situation and business operation;
  • Requirements for adapting to the changing situation on the energy, raw materials, aluminium and aluminium products markets.
It has been essential to the development strategy to take advantage of the synergy effects of all of the company's activities. With the main aim of assuring positive effects on the whole system. Development connects the following areas:
  • primary aluminium production;
  • casthouse production;
  • supporting and accompanying activities.
 
Development strategy

When the strategic-development plans are implemented, the following factors must be known:
  • the environment in which our company is operating;
  • the main characteristics of the world's aluminium industry;
  • competitors and
  • the world market for aluminium products.
The strategic-development plans of our company and the implementation of the development strategy can be divided into two main areas:
  • developing plans connected with the production and re-processing of the aluminium;
  • developing plans connected with additional programmes.
 
Further company development means:
  • maintaining the production of primary aluminium and aluminium products in accordance with ever stricter environment law at the European Union level and at the international level;
  • increasing the production by re-melting the secondary aluminium (scrap) and reducing consumption of the primary energy at the same time;
  • upgrading the production programme of re-processing in the sense of casting different semi-products and their handling to the final products. Thereby increasing the products' added value;
  • sustaining high product quality;
  • strengthening productivity, efficiency and competitiveness;
  • regularly monitoring the accepted aims of quality, environmental protection and the conditions of health and safety at work.
