Fire protection

Personal protective equipment is the equipment used by our employees for those activities involving a higher occupational safety and health risk.

We lay great stress on personal protective equipment against increased noise, harmful dust and gases as well as increased or decreased temperature.

We pay special attention to our visitors. For this reason there is a dressing room, where visitors can borrow protective equipment, used for a safe visit in the company's production department.

Fire protection in the industrial zone Talum is assured by our daughter company Vargas Al. The fire protection department consists of 10 employed fire fighters, who can be assisted by an additional 45 volunteers.

Qualified fire fighters with adequate equipment control the impact in case of fire and other unexpected events.
