A Roll-Bond (RB) Evaporator plate is used as a heat exchanger in household appliances for cooling and freezing purposes. Energy consumption of appliances is crucial when an RB Evaporator is needed.

A roll-bond evaporator is a compound plate rolled from two aluminium plates between which a channel system is formed.

Two basic qualities of RB plates are produced:

• Double side inflated (DSI) evaporator plate
