The basis for production is the use of potline aluminium, additionally we also re-melt cold aluminium in the melting furnaces too. The energy source is natural gas and heat from the potline aluminium (900°C). After the melting we add alloying elements to the melt in accordance with customer request.

For the reduction of sodium and other alkaline elements we add refining salts to the furnace, the homogeneity of the melt we reach with the mechanical mixing of the bath.

Before the casting we treat the melt in the in-line filter with argon. Argon additionally reduces impurities, such as hydrogen, inclusions and alkaline elements from the melt.

In the end the melt is additionally filtered in the porous filter unite, where the inclusions are removed (oxides, carbides, fluorides, chlorides etc.).

In the casting launder we add grain refiner to get a fine-grained structure, which improves the cast ability and mechanical properties of casted products.
