Production processes

Roll-Bond production phases include:

• casting of wide strip;
• pre-rolling of wide strip into strip for Evaporators;
• hot rolling into solid compound on line Expandal;
• homogenisation in annealing furnace;
• blowing of printed channels in blowing press;
• cutting to end dimension according to requests and packaging;
• punching with tool on ex-central punching machines and packaging.

Specification

Evaporator plates are used in cooling technology as heat exchangers in cooling and freezing devices.

Talum produces two main qualities of Roll-Bond Evaporator plates. Quality requirements are available in sales specification:
